The purpose of using a digital skills learning progression matrix is to assess and track a student's proficiency in various digital skills and competencies. It serves as a tool for evaluating the level of expertise across different areas of digital literacy or specific technologies. By using a matrix, teachers can have a comprehensive view of their student's digital competencies, make informed decisions, and strategically plan and/or adjust Instruction for skill development and growth in and outside of the classroom.
