Volunteer at the December 10th and 11th events as well as continuing to mentor Masterman kids to become better at mentoring kids and forming a more friendly connection with them. I want to be able to ask them more questions and help them practice their project by being their "judge". This will help me get more outreach hours for my outreach goal, and prepare me for future mentoring.
I mentored at the December 10th and 11th events. On the 10th I was a reviewer and on the 11th I was both a reviewer and tech advisor.

In the last week of the month reflect on your progress.
I believe I achieved my goal. I volunteered on both days as can be seen in the photos. I managed to make friendlier connections with the kids I mentored at masterman, which was my main goal. As can be seen, the kids were eager to do my facepaint and talk with me about the event, which I was really happy about. I also mentored kids I'd never met before in programming their robots and completing missions.
The main thing I learned is that the relationship between student mentors and mentees doesn't have to be completely professional and formal. It's ok to have fun when mentoring and asking the kids about themselves.
I will definitely use what I learned to mentor kids more efficiently in the future. Hopefully, as I continue doing outreach, I will learn more about how to make the kids more comfortable. Thanks to this event, I reached 27 hours of outreach, so I'm one step closer to completing the 40 hours I'm aiming for by the end of the year.
