My involvement

Assistant Instructor : 2019-2022

• As a student teacher, I had the ability to showcase my leadership skills by being a role model for young dancers. I assisted with creating and teaching choreography, choosing costume options, assisting young dancers with simple duties, tidying up the studio, and helping set the stage for our showcases by putting up decorations and handing out programs. Dance has allowed me to make some of my best friends while being an outlet that fueled me to express my creativity.

Competition Team : 2014-2022

• Being a part of the competition team, I learned how to better manage my time when it came to extra, late night practices, as well as motivation to perfect a routine while working within a team setting.
