As a member of the American Sign Language Honor Society, I had the opportunity to teach local fourth grade students at Pandora-Gilboa Local Schools sign language, which was a very fun experience. (Please view video to the right.) I also signed a children's book for the students and surrounding community of The Ohio School for the Deaf. My senior year, I was given the honor of being named the "Student of the Year" at Cindy's Tap on Wood Studio of Dance. This award is given to an involved dancer that demonstrates leadership and a strong passion for dance.
