IB students get more college scholarships than other students

IB students are accepted at more colleges & earn college degrees more quickly than other students

IB's toolkit of skills & traits lets you develop into the best YOU that you can be

Only about half of U.S. college students finish their four-year degree after six years. This stunning figure has negative implications for everything from failure-to-launch syndrome to decreased home ownership and increased retirement ages. Most American high schools do not seem to provide students with the kinds of skills they need for university success.

Some parents and students give up on college, even after paying for a few semesters. Others push forward and end up with college debt piled up from six years of taking and retaking failed classes. In the end, some may feel they've been defeated in life before they've even had their first full-time job.

Parkdale offers the solution: the International Baccalaureate is a rigorous, international college-preparatory program with over 5000 schools worldwide, from London to Lagos, from Tokyo to Tijuana. This means students are taught at––and held to––an international standard of excellence. In 11th & 12th grades, students complete major projects & oral interviews, preparing for culminating exams for college credit, which 95% of Parkdale students earn. Research shows that IB students are more likely to get higher grades in college and achieve higher graduation rates. To help students become great adults, IB equips students with a toolkit, key components of which include Theory of Knowledge, the Extended Essay, the Learner Profile, Approaches to Learning, and CAS
