Parkdale offers the solution: the International Baccalaureate is a rigorous, international college-preparatory program with over 5000 schools worldwide, from London to Lagos, from Tokyo to Tijuana. This means students are taught at––and held to––an international standard of excellence. In 11th & 12th grades, students complete major projects & oral interviews, preparing for culminating exams for college credit, which 95% of Parkdale students earn. Research shows that IB students are more likely to get higher grades in college and achieve 32% higher graduation rates. 

To help students become great adults, IB equips students with a toolkit of life skills, key components of which include Theory of Knowledge, the Learner Profile, Approaches to Learning, the Extended Essay, International-Mindedness, and CAS (Creativity, Activity, Service).
