This event is free of cost and pre-registration is highly recommended.

College and Career Showcase Event - September 26, 2019

Bring students to the upcoming College and Career Showcase Event – September 26 at the National Gaylord Hotel. Students will get to meet and interact with recruiters from various colleges/universities from all over the country. Students attending this event will receive a lunch bag as they depart for their buses. For your review, I have attached an invitation from the President of Minority Access, Inc., the organization sponsoring this event. I look forward to receiving the completed event registration form. Ethnic Youth College Fair for Minority Students

The Ethnic Youth College Fair for Minority Students gives African American, Asian, and Latino students, in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area, an opportunity to meet with college representatives from across the country and gather pertinent information about the college process as well as plan a course of study for their designated career track. This fair is a great time for minority students to familiarize themselves with a variety of schools, in which they are interested, as well as introduce themselves to schools they might not have previously considered. Some colleges will offer application fee waivers, on-site admissions, and scholarships. Please have senior students come prepared with several copies of their transcripts and SAT/ACT scores! Large/school groups are welcome!

Date: October 20, 2018, Time: 1:00 pm - 3:30 pm, Location: Tommy Douglas Conference Center, 10000 New Hampshire Avenue, Silver Spring, MD 20903
