Marching Band Showcase, held in October of each year, is where high school students perform precision drill formations, popular tunes, and dance routines on the football field for the community to enjoy. The bands are typically accompanied by a separate dance team, majorettes, or flag squad to enhance the performance! Marching Band is an athletic based, extracurricular activity of the Instrumental Music program. You can see most marching bands performing at football games, parades, and pep rallies within schools. Previous ability to play a musical instrument, linked with consistent practice and some physical ability are required to participate.
