Mission Statement

The Instrumental Music Instructional Program is committed to ensuring that all students have an opportunity to develop the knowledge and skills needed for success in playing an instrument whether as a soloist, in small chamber groups, or in large ensembles. The Instrumental Music Program is a year-long, sequential and continual program of study offered in schools in Prince George's County beginning in fourth grade.
