The total field will be a maximum of 132 players, consisting of top finishers from National Car Rental Section Assistant PGA Professional Championships and exempt players.

Exemptions: 

• Top four (4) finishers, plus ties, from the 2022 Assistant PGA Professional Championship (Brian Bergstol, Zac Oakley, Domenico Geminiani)

Eligibility is limited to PGA members and associates meeting the following classifications and criteria. Players must be eligibly employed and classified as an A-8 Member or as a B-8 Associate at the time of entry and on the deadline date (Oct. 25, 2023). PGA of America’s records must reflect this status on both critical dates. All B-8 Associates must have completed Level 1 of the PGA PGM program by their Section Championship. The PGA of America reserves the right to determine player eligibility and reject any contestant who does not fulfill the requirements listed below.

Not Eligible: 

• A PGA Member/Associate serving a suspension from membership;

• A PGA Member/Associate suspended from national tournament participation;

• A PGA Member/Associate classified as anything other than A-8 or B-8; 

• A PGA Associate who has not completed Level 1 of the PGA PGM program;

• A PGA Member/Associate who has played in more than eight Professional Tour events between Oct. 25, 2022 and Oct. 24, 2023; 

Non-Exempt: 

Openings caused by the withdrawal, or non-entry, of a NON-EXEMPT player will be filled from within that player’s PGA Section Alternate List, until Tuesday, Oct. 31, 2023 @ 7:00 a.m. If the Section has no alternates available, then the opening will be filled directly from the National Alternate List.

Exempt: 

Openings caused by the withdrawal, or non-entry, of an EXEMPT player will be filled directly from the National Alternate List.

On Oct. 31: 

All openings caused by the withdrawal of any player, beginning Tuesday, Oct. 31, 2023, will be filled directly from the National Alternate List.
