MATHCOUNTS Club
MATHCOUNTS is a math enrichment program that will challenge your math skills. After several months of coaching, students will compete as a team to represent Asa Clark in written and oral competitions against the brightest math students in the region. Team and individual participants will advance to state and national competitions.
Club meets in room 245 (Mrs. Weiss 7th grade)
from 2:45-3:40 on meeting days!

Jes Weiss
Mrs. Weiss teaches 7th grade math at ACMS. This is her 7th year teaching in Pewaukee and her 16th year of teaching.
This is Mrs. Weiss' fourth year as the Asa MathCounts coach. She is a MathCounts alumnus - participating from 1999-2001 at her middle school in Kimberly, WI.
In her free time, Mrs. Weiss spends time with her two kids, Quinn (9) and Harper (5), and husband, Steve. She likes to read, work out at Burn Boot Camp, play board games with friends, and play guitar and sing.
Devyanshu Mohapatra
Devyanshu is a sophomore at Pewaukee High School. This is his second year as Assistant Coach for MathCounts at Asa Clark Middle School.
When Devyanshu was a student at Asa, he captained his MathCounts team, reaching the state competition in both 7th and 8th grade. As an 8th grade student, Devyanshu placed 11th overall in the State of Wisconsin.
Devyanshu also participates in the Academic Decathlon Team and FBLA, and he engages in the AMC 10 exam. In his free time, he enjoys playing chess and watching football.
