Prestigious Awards at ISET 2026

In our commitment to fostering academic excellence and recognizing outstanding contributions, ISET 2026 is proud to announce several awards for presenting authors. We encourage all eligible participants to showcase their highest-quality work for a chance to receive these accolades.

Award Categories:

1. MyMembrane Travelling Award

• Value: RM 300 (4 Awards Available) and a certificate.

• Description: To facilitate knowledge sharing and financial support for the conference attendance, four (4) awards of RM 300 will be granted. This award is open to eligible participants and helps support their travel and participation at ISET 2026.

Eligibility:

• The applicant is a registered participant of the ISET 2026 conference and a presenting author.

• Open for all

Application Process

Application for the ISET Young Scientist Award can be submitted through our ISET2026. Applicants are required to fill out a Google Form with comprehensive details about their contributions, achievements, and impact on their field. The application deadline is 1 August 2026.

Selection Process

• A thorough review process will be conducted by the Selection Committee, comprising esteemed professionals from academia and the industry.   

2. ISET Young Scientists Award

Value: RM 200 (3 Awards Available), a plaque, and a certificate.

Description: Dedicated to nurturing young talent, this award recognizes the exceptional work of early-career researchers and is a well-deserved recognition for their contributions

Eligibility:

• The applicant is a registered participant of the ISET 2026 conference and a presenting author.

• Below 35 years old 

• Student only

Application Process

Application for the ISET Young Scientist Award can be submitted through our ISET2026. Applicants are required to fill out a Google Form  with comprehensive details about their contributions, achievements, and impact on their field. The application should append a justification letter describing the research focus (max. 500 words). The application deadline is 1 August 2026.

3. Best Oral Presentation

• Prize: Certificate of Achievement

• Description: Excellence in verbal communication and research delivery will be recognized in each parallel session. Session chairs will evaluate presentations based on clarity, methodology, results, and the speaker's handling of the Q&A session. One presenter per session will receive a Best Oral Presenter Certificate to enhance their academic portfolio.

4. Best Poster Presentation

• Prize: Certificate of Achievement

• Description: Posters are a vital part of our scientific exchange. Winners will be selected for each session based on scientific content, visual layout, and the presenter's ability to communicate their research effectively during the poster viewing session. One presenter per session will be awarded a Best Poster Presenter Certificate.

Award Announcement

• Winners will be announced during the closing ceremony of the conference on 24 September 2026
