Kortext is a huge library of eBooks. You can view these on a browser and add your own annotations or highlights, or download eBooks to your phone too if you use the app.
To get into the resource, click the button then search for Petroc in the Institution button. If it is your first time using Kortext, you will need to create your account by confirming your Petroc email and creating a password.
The following time, you will just need to either select Petroc as your institution and use your Petroc account to sign in.
While there is a citation tool in Kortext, you will not get all of the necessary referencing information you need from using this tool, nor will it be formatted correctly.
Instead, you should be able to find all of the information you need by looking at the book's cover and edition notice on the first few pages. You can also find information from your Bookshelf by clicking the three dots on the book, then selecting "Book Information".
At Petroc, you must follow Harvard referencing guidelines following those set out in Cite them Right - you can use either their website or the 11th edition of the book (available in the Library).
Cite them Right states with eBooks that if it has the appearance of a published book, with publication details and pagination (i.e. page numbers), you should reference it as a published book.
