The guide tab has the latest TV and radio schedules of all the major Freeview channels available. Click 'request programme' and it will be recorded and added to your account as soon as it is ready
This is a great tip that works with any search tool. Using quotation marks around your search term (for example, "blue planet" versus blue planet) means it will search for that term exactly, rather than the words you want as separate search terms
Click the 'search options' drop-down box to refine your search options. Recommended options are to search for what is 'available now', and by 'title only' if you have a specific show you are after
On the 'channels' section, click on either 'popular' or 'custom' to select specific TV and radio broadcasters to search through
Using a smaller 'date range' will limit the results you get too
Keep the 'show repeat broadcasts' box un-ticked to prevent seeing lots of broadcasts of the same episode!
When you find your chosen show, click 'show transcript'. You can then search this with your keyword to find a relevant part of the video
Click on the part of the transcript you want and the video will jump to this part - this makes it much quicker to find the part you want and make a clip!
Click the 'share' button and copy the WAYFless link. You can then email this or share it in Google Classroom or Moodle. This link prompts whoever is clicking on it to log in via Petroc first, so you can guarantee they can see the episode.
