What is Book Club?
Book Club is a student led group that meets weekly to discuss books, participate in book related activities and plan book related events!
When does Book Club Meet?
Book Club meets after school one day a week. Right now we are meeting on Mondays from 2:45-3:45 to prepare for our book fair.

Million Word Challenge
Million Word Challenge
Students raced to read 1 million words by the end of winter break. They kept track of their word count on a shared google doc and we moved our 'avatars' along a number line each week to see who was in the lead.
Maybe A Fox
Maybe A Fox
Students picked the book Maybe A Fox to read together. Each week we completed a craft or activity related to the book including creating fox bookmarks and painting our own 'wishing rocks' (although none of us are going anywhere near 'the slip' to throw ours in!).
Book Trivia
Book Trivia
We love trivia! After Reading "Into the Wild" we picked out several Kahoots (online trivia quizes) and competed to see who remembered the most about the book!

America's Battle of the Books
During distance learning, book club went virtual. We formed two teams and each team read a total of 17 books before competing in a trivia showdown!
