Honors
National Honor Society
Scholarship - Per national guidelines, at a minimum, students must have a cumulative GPA of 85, B, 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, or equivalent standard of excellence.
Service - This involves voluntary contributions made by a student to the school or community, done without compensation.
Leadership - Student leaders are those who are resourceful, good problem solvers, and idea contributors. Leadership experiences can be drawn from school or community activities while working with or for others.
Character - The student of good character is cooperative; demonstrates high standards of honesty and reliability; shows courtesy, concern, and respect for others; and generally maintains a clean disciplinary record.
National Technical Honor Society
Members should be active and responsible student citizens who have made a personal commitment to excellence and who agree to uphold the NTHS Standards of Conduct.

Complete Future Ready Core Mathematics Sequence with a 4th math from the UNC System Requirements
Complete 3 units of Science including Physics or Chemistry
Complete 4 units of Social Studies including World History, American History: Founding Principles, Civics and Economics, American History I and American History II
Complete 2 units of World Language
Complete 4 elective credits in any ONE subject area (CTE, ROTC, Arts, World Language, Subject Area)
Complete 3 higher-level courses during junior and/or senior years which carry quality points such as Advanced Placement or Dual Enrollment courses; Advanced CTE and CTE credentialing courses; or honors level courses.
Earn unweighted GPA of 3.0-3.49.

Complete Future Ready Core Mathematics Sequence
Complete a CTE Concentration in approved Cluster areas
Unweighted GPA 2.6 or greater
Earn one or more industry-recognized credential including a Silver level or above on the WorkKeys assessment or another appropriate industry credential/certification
