Rifle Team is all about discipline, attention to detail, consistency and patience. To become apart of the rifle team, you are required to attend a briefing about firearm safety and pass a firearm safety test with a 100% score. Once you have passed the test, you may begin practice and attempt to qualify for a marksmanship badge. The top scorers become the rifle team. The team uses air-powered, precision air rifles and competes in three positions: Standing, Kneeling and Prone. Their goal is to fire the pellets at ten bulls-eyes, down range, about the size of the pellet, itself.
