My sister Kat and I published a book titled "Floyd The Ice Cream Eating Dragon". The story came about when our Pop-Pop, Trip Schweighardt, babysat us when we were young. He would make up funny stories, and one day he made up Floyd! We had always said we would make Floyd The Ice Cream Eating Dragon a book, and finally, after many years, We published it in Febuary, 2025!

Jersey Mike's
Every year Mr. Reiner goes to Jersey Mike's and makes sandwiches for everyone who wants one. On April 30, there will be a line out the door at the Jersey Mike's in Lincoln Park. Everyone was waiting for the best sandwich from the best principal.

ART
The SJG art show will be on May 12, 2025. It will start at 6:00 and end at 8:00. Many SJG students have been working hard in art class. The 5th graders made poster boards of all of the projects they have been working on this year. The poster boards will be displayed in the SJG gymnasium.

Color Run!
Color Run!
The Color Run will be postponed because of rain. The Color Run will now be on May 22. The Color Run is an enjoyable activity where students will run through dyed powder trying to get their white shirts colorful! Everyone looks forward to this event, and we hope you do too!

NJSLA Testing!
NJSLA Testing!
The NJSLA test is very important, and something students have been working towards all year. Only grades 3-5 take this test. The ELA test is on April 30, 2025-May 1, 2025. The Math test is on May 6-8, 2025. Again this test is only for grades 3, 4, and 5.
