Wrestling practices are held at Marticville. While the Marticville wrestlers wait for the Manor kids to show up, we roll out the mats and tape them down everyday so it's ready for practice. Once we all roll out the mats, we play handball before the other wrestlers get here.
Once we start practice, we jog around the mats and do different kinds of warm-ups and then roll our necks out. Then we get with a partner and do all sorts of drills including repetitive hand fighting and takedowns.
There was supposed to be a quad meet at Spring Grove, but Spring Grove dropped out, so we have a tri meet on December 11, 2021. The wrestlers who signed up for the PMWC (Penn Manor Wrestling Club) will have a tournament at Oxford that starts at 8am on December 12th 2021. On the 14th of December will have practice until 4:30 instead of the normal 5:30. On December 15th, we have a match at Conestoga Valley that starts at 4 pm after school.
