Before you launch, let's do three things so you hit the ground running.
BHHS Connect pulls information from the BHHS REsource Center every 20 minutes to help you keep your profile up-to-date.
Ensure the following is up-to-date in your profile:
NAME
AGENT PHOTO
CONTACT INFORMATION
ABOUT ME
SOCIAL MEDIA LINKS
*If you do not know your BHHS REsource Center username, reach out to your ASA.
PREPARE: STEP 2 - PREP YOUR CONTACTS
> COMPILE YOUR LIST
Begin compiling your database. Consider where you are keeping your contacts currently and where you may have stored them in the past to ensure you import all of your past clients and prospects.
> CHECK IT TWICE
Every contact must have at least one email address or phone number. Download the Contact Import Spreadsheet and begin to sort your compiled database. Make sure that first and last names are copied over correctly as some automation features will pull and display this information.

PREPARE: STEP 3 - DOWNLOAD THE MOBILE APPS
Download the BHHS Connect app and BHHS Open House app on your mobile devices, including your tablet.
You can view your daily call and task list, access your database, monitor client activity and receive behavioral alerts. Additionally, We STRONGLY RECOMMEND that push notifications are enabled!
FAQ: PREPPING YOUR CONTACT LIST
Export your Contacts from your current CRM. Review the fields and ensure they follow the below criteria:
The names should be split into two fields: First Name, Last Name
The address should be in four fields: Street, City, State, Postal Code
AT MINIMUM, your data should contain at least the first name, last name, and email address or cell number for texting.
OPTIONAL BUT RECOMMENDED—Add a column called "Contact Status." Complete the column for each contact using the values provided in BHHS Connect: Sphere, Prospect, New Lead, Active Lead, Client, Contract, Closed, or Archived. We highly recommend taking the time to complete this step. Some of BHHS Connect's automation is tied to the Contact Status and is valuable to have—do it now, or do it later!
OPTIONAL BUT RECOMMENDED—Add a column called "Deal/Lead Type." Complete the column for each contact using the values provided in BHHS Connect: buyer, Seller, Renter, Agent, and/or Vendor.
OPTIONAL BUT RECOMMENDED—Add a column called "Hashtags" and modify values as desired. Hashtags are a way to further sort your contacts and communicate with them. For example, some hashtags may include but are not limited to: relocation, VA loan, first-time buyer, farm, downsizing, etc. This will allow you to send out a communication to just your "relocation" or "farm" clients.
Export your Contacts from your system and use the "Let us Handle It "Option. Import Request Form
Minimum Requirements for the CSV:

Optional changes can be made to your CSV file:
Add a column called Hashtag and modify values as desired.
Add a column called LeadType, and add values to match the options in BHHS Connect.
Add a column called Contact Status and add values that match options in BHHS Connect.
Option A - If you don't have a database of contacts established yet, this is a great way to get started:

Note Labels will not be synced
If you disconnect Google later, all your contacts will remain as-is in BHHS Connect.
Option B - If you have labels in Google that you would like to include as hashtags in BHHS Connect:
From Google Contacts, Choose Export >All Contacts >Outlook CSV. Contacts.csv will be saved to your computer.
Click on this link to have BHHS Connect Upload your Contacts: Import Request Form. Choose a default Deal Lead Type and Contact Status on the form.

Optional changes can be made to your CSV file:
Rename the Categories field to Hashtag and modify values as desired.
Add a field called Contact Type and add the values to match BHHS Connect: Buyer, Seller, Renter, Agent or Vendor.
Add a field called Client Status and add the values to match BHHS Connect: Sphere, Prospect, New Lead, Active Lead, Client, Contract, Closed, Archive
Change "Other" Phone to either Home or Cell Phone for best results
Download a copy of the BHHSConnect Import Guide and Template:
Be sure to add values to your "Hashtag" columns
Add the values for LeadType, and ContactStatus fields to your file data and enter each value that you want to be uploaded.
