Masking Activity

You will be using multiple masking techniques to create a final compilation video of the various techniques.

Create a new project: Name: Masking Effects.
Create a sequence and name it: Final Masking Effects with settings: HDV1080p24.
You will use the "Final Masking Effects" sequence to compile your various techniques below.
Once both edits below are complete you will export and turn in "Final Masking Effects" as a H.264.

Download file needed to complete project, and import. (Click Here)
Create a new sequence from the clip "Text Reveal" and name it Wild Horses. Use settings: Settings: HDV1080p24

3. Use a font you feel best represents the video.

Use the Text: "Wild Horses"

4. Fade in and fade out the video. Use a Dissolve Effect.

5. Move completed sequence into "Final Masking Effects" sequence.

Create a new sequence and name it Shark. Use settings: Settings: HDV1080p24
Download files needed to complete project. (Click Here)
Watch Tutorial to right.
Use the Impact Font and type the word "Shark". Be sure to center horizontally and place in water area of video. Resize to 580. Use the a blue color of the water, and add a Video effect named Wave Warp, pull the opacity down to allow texture of water to come through.
The text in point should be at 11:00 second mark.
Use the pen tool to mask the shark s it swims by.
Fade in and fade out the video. Use a Dissolve Effect.
Move sequence into "Final Masking Effects" sequence.
