Need assistance with your research, navigating databases, citing, etc.? You can sign yourself up on the calendar to meet with Ms. Fleck during a specific time! Time slots are for a half an hour each (25 minutes during lunch). If your schedule does not allow you to visit during the school day (ex: you do not have a study hall or Earned Time), please fill out the Research Assistance Form.

*Note: Please plan ahead! It is preferable if you sign up a few days prior to your visit. If a class signs up during your scheduled time, Ms. Fleck will contact you to re-schedule.

Quiet Lounge: The Learning Commons is a busy space that supports all learning including collaboration, exploration, and creativity (which can be noisy)! If you would like a quiet atmosphere, the Learning Commons has a room designated as a silent space to study, read, or relax before, during, and after school. This room is also periodically used as a classroom and for after school co-curricular meetings. Please check the calendar for availability.

Everyone experiences stress, and learning how to manage it is one of the best things you can do for your mental and physical health. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, or just need to take a break, these tools and resources can help you relax, de-stress, and refocus.

The Learning Commons Makerspace is an area for students who would like to work on creative projects including, but not limited to, buttons (pins), 3D printed images, 3D pens, posters, Stickers (make & print your own!), Cricut (dye-cutting machine), coloring, drawing, origami, jewelry, perler beads, painting, and knitting! Have craft supplies at home that you want to use? AWESOME! Bring them in, relax and be creative!

Is there an activity that you think we should include in the Makerspace? Please let us know!
