Zoinks, Scoob! National Paranormal Day is an unofficial holiday that takes place every year on May 3rd. It celebrates and encourages discussion of paranormal activity and investigation. Paranormal describes purported, supernatural phenomena that has no scientific explanation, such as ghosts, demons, UFOs, and ESP (also known as the Sixth Sense). While mythology has long attempted to understand paranormal experiences, the paranormal continues to fascinate us today!

New England has a deep history of paranormal activity and stories! Do you know that Plymouth State University is known as one of the most haunted places in New Hampshire?! Rumor has it there is a ghost lurking in the clocktower, and several in the tunnel that connects Mary Lyon and Blair Hall. For years students have been sharing tales of creepy sounds, flickering lights, unsettling cold spots, and spectral figures (including the ghost of a little girl)!
