Retellings are a new, fresh version of an old story (which typically make the new story a powerful story on it's own)! An author might tell a new story based on a popular fairy tale by including a modern setting, adding a minor character's perspective, or create a mashup of different genres (like: fairy tale meets dystopian future)!

Here are just a few of the retellings available in the Learning Commons! Looking for more? Check out the Fantasy, Fairy Tales, and Retelling Collection!
