Teacher Feature

A known face around Pembroke High School Teacher Jessica Walls is now in her 13th year of teaching. She started in 2010 as a ninth-grade English teacher and now teaches many others like SCI-FI Dystopian Literature, Leadership, AP Literature, and Speech and Debate.

When asked what her favorite year was she said,

“I love them all, I love teaching.”

Miss.Walls was very excited to reveal her favorite student.

“Kevin Picariello. He blessed my life with humor, dedication, and his journalism skills.”

Her nights are no longer spent watching “The Office” now spent watching “Abbot Elementary."

When she was asked what book she would bring if she was stuck on an island she responded with “Bear Town, by Freddrick Backman.”

After 12 years of teaching Miss Walls has changed in many wonderful ways. She enjoys different things. She is going on 13 years of teaching and shows no signs of stopping.
