Some seniors who were contestants in the talent show performed a song sentimental to them titled, “Hopak!” by William Owens. The group previously performed this piece during the 2021 Freshman Band, and decided to do it once again to pay tribute to their younger selves.
Auditions were held and each student participating had put in hard work in order to perfect their abilities. The show was an exhibit of talent that was free of charge and had no winner so all students felt included and welcome to show off their skills. Students who attended said that the performers were a direct reflection of how hard work pays off and they are lucky to have them represent Pembroke High School with their incredible talents.

March Gym Class Hero: Chris Doyle
by Jared Fitzpatrick
There are some great athletes in Pembroke High School's varsity and junior varsity team sports, but some of the best athletes are found within the school itself, in gym class. The fabled, Gym Class Hero, is a title that only the best of the best can achieve. This month, The Titan Times is recognizing Christopher Doyle as a true Gym Class Hero.
Doyle, known as C Doyle, Chris, or Topher to some, is nothing short of a novelty when it comes to the Pembroke gymnasium. Chris has participated in a gym class all 4 years of his high school career, even taking two separate gym classes in his ongoing Senior year. Doyle took Lifetime Recreational and Team Sports last semester and is now currently enrolled in the Personal Fitness class.
During one of his recent Personal Fitness classes, Chris took the time to answer some questions with The Titan Times. When asked what his favorite gym class activity was, Doyle responded,"I'm a big 3Ball guy, World Cup is probably a close second for me.". 3Ball is a game invented by Mr. Rooney, with a close resemblance to Dodgeball. It has quickly become a favorite. World Cup is another favorite, even so that when Chris was asked what his favorite moment was, he exclaimed,"Going back to back in World Cup with JT Salmeri." World Cup is a very popular game that is soccer, but on one net with two goalkeepers and many different teams of 2-3 players.
The Titan Times also managed to strike two interviews with two classmates Chris touted as his biggest rivals, Senior Drew Anderlionis and Junior Nicholas Carbone. Anderlionis was quick to show his appreciation for Chris as a determined competitor, stating, "Chris has a different mindset than others, Chris is determined and will do whatever it takes to win”. On the other hand, Carbone believes Chris is a competitor and he respects that, but he claims Doyle could never compete with him.
