For students receiving services from the Gifted and Talented Program, the Emerging Scholars Program consists of weekly seminars scheduled during the structured iLearn time. The seminar for Freshman students is Freshman Seminar. Sophomore, Junior, and Senior students may take any of the following seminars: Independent Study, Leadership, and Internships. The Emerging Scholars Program provides a deliberate and conscious path for students to achieve their personal goals. One of the most important aspects of the Emerging Scholar Program is for students to have ownership of the experience. The seminar activities and topics are individualized, flexible, and dynamic to reflect the interests and passions of each student.
