I’m so excited to make music with you this year! Whether you’re singing in the PES Choir, exploring music in grades 4-5, or joining me for piano, singing, songwriting, or Musical Theater 101 at the high school, get ready for a year full of creativity and fun. I also have the joy of directing our talented district choirs and the PHS Python Players Theatre Group, and I even coach the PMS field hockey team!

In general music, we’ll dive into rhythms, compose our own songs, and strengthen our musical ears with instruments and singing. We’ll explore a variety of songs and percussion instruments, all while building skills that follow the National Association for Music Education standards. My goal is to make every class an adventure where everyone can find their place in music.

A little about me: I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Music Education from Hartwick College, where I also enjoyed playing field hockey, and completed my Master’s in Classical Singing at Ithaca College. I’m passionate about helping students find their musical voices and discover new things about themselves along the way. 

I can’t wait to share this musical journey with you and see what we’ll create together this year!
