As an Instructional Coach and Digital Learning Specialist I get to learn alongside every teacher and student at Pelham Elementary School. At Pelham Elementary School, we strive to help students develop the skills they need to be ready for their future. Skills such as communication, collaboration, creativity, problem solving, digital literacy, and critical thinking.
We enable our students to use technology to connect with their world, learn from others, demonstrate their knowledge, and share their own ideas. We strive to instill good digital habits as we work towards teaching our students to be responsible digital citizens and mindful of the digital footprint they are creating.
Technology helps to individualize each student's learning experiences and creates opportunities for students to pursue their individual interests and passions. Our students are empowered to create content with a purpose, not just passively consume it.
I also have the opportunity to work with fourth and fifth grade Panther Techs creating the PES News showcasing some of the amazing people and work at PES.
Everyday I look forward to fun and engaging hands-on learning with our students!
