Grade 4 learners were introduced to the works of French artist Henri Rousseau, known for his vivid and dreamlike jungle scenes. After looking at several of Rousseaus artworks learners were given the task of drawing a tiger creeping through the jungle, inspired by Rousseau's Tiger in a Tropical Storm (Surprised!) painting.
