Database Search Tips
To make a search more general you can add an asterisk to the end of the word to search for all forms of that word. For example, if you type in "Latin America*" your search will include both "Latin America" and "Latin American"
Use Advanced Search to combine search terms. To make a search more specific, you can add search terms.
For example: To research the intersectionality of Latinos and race, instead of just "Latin*" you can try "Latin* AND race"
If you are having trouble finding resources, try changing the way you are searching
For example: If a search for "latin american dictators" doesn't return enough results, try looking up the names of specific dictators and using their names to search for information
