The STARS and Nova Team would like to provide an opportunity to get any individual who is completely new to the state reporting role basic reporting requirements and information. We want to provide information such as commonly used terminology, the systems you will be using, reporting date requirements, and other high level information.

The Public Education Department utilizes a system that will generate unique identifying numbers for students and one day staff. Come learn how this system works and become familiar with the Unique ID system for your district or charter.

Pre-Conference Session: Problem Solving Strategies for Ed-Fi and NOVA (Optional)

NOVA offers a streamlined and more secure way to submit data to the PED, but it introduces a new technology that has its own quirks and content to get to know and adjust to. In this session, you will learn the various types of errors that occur in the system, who to call when you see those types of errors, and what tools you have to solve problems.
