How to 3D Scan
Download and install the Einscan Software (EXScan S_V3.1.0.1.exe). This software only runs on the Windows Operating System. You will be required to fill out a form prior to download. Note: you do not need Solid Edge or Geomagic Essentials to scan.

Turn on the scanner and plug it into your computer via the USB cable.
Device. Launch EXScan. Use the online activation link to download the license file. Then select EinScan SE.
Calibration. Use the provided Calibration board and stand (set to 75 degrees) and follow the steps carefully. Have a clean, letter-sized white sheet of paper handy for the White Balance Calibration test.
Scan. Click New Work to start a new scan session. Follow the steps in the EinScan Guidebook to generate a quality scan:
Export your completed scan to an STL (geometry, no texture), OBJ (geometry + texture).
