Using spatial (PPGIS) and traditional survey response data from respondents throughout Oregon, this project aims to identify spatially explicit values and management priorities Oregonians hold about Oregon’s coastal and marine areas.

Addressing improper disposal of pharmaceuticals and personal care products
This project used surveys and interviews to assess consumer behavior and pharmacist recommendations regarding drug disposal at pharmacies with and without drug take-back boxes, a year-round safe disposal method.

Assessing effort shifts in Oregon's nearshore fisheries
From time to time fishers are forced to shift where they fish. What factors are driving geographic shifts in effort in the Dungeness crab, salmon, and groundfish fisheries in Oregon's nearshore waters? And are marine reserves one of those drivers?
