The Digital Technologies team have created a dedicated YouTube channel to host their short digital tool tutorial videos. Each short video explores a specific digital tool and how it can be used to support and enhance teaching, learning and assessment.

Case Study A
A large rural post-primary school in the west of Ireland are beginning to engage with blended learning and wish to up skill themselves in the use of digital tools to support teaching and assessment practices across the school. They meet as a staff termly and have decided that each subject department will choose a different digital tool from the PDST YouTube channel to explore each term. Here, they will watch the online tutorial, try it out in their own classes and report back to the staff at the next meeting regarding how effective the tool was.
Case Study B
The Art Department in a large urban post-primary school in Munster have decided that they would like to their students to send them photographs and videos of their work to aid the teachers in assessing their work online. The teachers in the department would like to be able to give oral feedback to their students and have decided to access the assessment and feedback playlist on the PDST Digital Technologies team YouTube channel to watch some short online tutorials regarding the various ways that they can achieve this aim using a variety of digital tools. The teachers will them collectively decide which digital tool they feel best serves their needs.
