What is the age of consent for students to access services through the Be Well Support Line?
Any PDSB student or caregiver may access the line for support.
For more than one contact or to initiate brief individual counselling services, students 14 years of age and older, who are capable of providing consent, can self-consent. Otherwise, parent/guardian consent is required.
Is language interpretation available?
Yes. When students/families contact the line by phone or our service request form, they’ll have the option of requesting confidential interpretation services.

Proactive Cops with Kids Culinary Program
A community police officer, Shane Ryan, is running a FREE culinary program through "Proactive Cops with Kids" program.
When: The program will begin mid-April after school from 4 PM - 6 PM on Thursdays.
Where: Churchill Meadows Community Centre - kitchen
Who: Highschool students - grades 9-12
If students need bus tickets, Shane can provide them.
All students will receive a culinary kit.
The students do not have to bring anything. Students will have an opportunity to suggest the types of meals the group prepares.

Set to take place in Toronto from July 5-10, GLOBL JAM will shine the international spotlight on the game’s rising stars and feature women’s and men’s teams from around the world competing in an Under-23 tournament at Mattamy Athletic Centre. Recognized by the International Basketball Federation (FIBA), the GLOBL JAM men’s and women’s tournaments will feature two pools of four teams, respectively.

BounceBack is a free skill-building program designed to help adults and youth 15+ manage symptoms of depression and anxiety.
To participate in BounceBack, we encourage you to talk to your primary care provider (family doctor or nurse practitioner). They can submit a referral on your behalf. This referral is important to make sure that the healthcare professionals who know you best can match your needs with the right support. Alternatively, you can self-refer, but be sure to include your primary care provider's contact information.
BounceBack provides telephone coaching and workbooks and online videos (available in English, French, Mandarin, Cantonese, Punjabi, Arabic, and Farsi)
