EmploymentWorks is a proven program that offers employment preparedness training and support, combined with job sampling and hands-on or simulated work experiences to autistic youth, adults and persons with disabilities. The program is designed for individuals who want to enter or return to the workforce, and who are willing to develop and practice the skills necessary to support employment success.

The Youth Job Connection (YJC) program provides year-round pre-employment and life skills training as well as job placement support and mentoring to youth between the ages of 15 and 29.
The program aims to help youth who are:
15-29 years of age
Canadian Citizens, Permanent Residents, or persons who have been granted refugee status in Canada under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act
Unemployed
Not attending school full-time
Experiencing multiple barriers to employment.

For students interested in becoming machine operators after graduation
The DCM Pro program is designed to get individuals ready who are interested in becoming machine operators within the site. Eligible machines include: Flexo, Rotary, Sheet Fed, Duplicator, Collator, Roll Slitter, Rewind, Letterpress, and Machine Bindery. DCM Pro provides support and mentors to dedicated individuals who are interested in becoming Machine Operators within the next few years. Once a successful candidate is chosen, they will be provided with a letter confirming acceptance into the program that carefully explains all the guidelines that they must sign off on.
The Central Ontario Building Trades (COBT) and our affiliates established Hammer Heads to assist under-resourced and Aboriginal youth by linking them to registered apprenticeship opportunities in the skilled construction trades
All applicants must be between the ages of 18 – 26 and reside in an under-resourced community in the Greater Toronto Area
A minimum of Grade 10 Math, English & Science Credits are required or a GED
You must submit a complete application including your resume and high school transcript or GED
