  • Students must be actively engaged in order to demonstrate learning and students are only engaged in the presence of rigor

Relationships:

• Students learn through relationships

• Relationships can be integrated into assessment through collaboration,

Vulnerability:

• Students are vulnerable if they have not been properly prepared for assessment

• Teachers must provide effective formative assessment opportunities, timely feedback and modeling
