Monitor support is offered to student in the semester when GLE is not scheduled or as a stand-alone delivery of support for students. Students who require on-going monitoring and assistance, but may not require the more intensive support offered through the GLE credit, will have .
With LS2 support, your child will be assigned a Special Education teacher that will monitor their progress throughout the semester. The monitor teacher will meet with your child or child's teachers on a pre-arranged basis (bi-weekly, monthly, or as needed).
When support or assistance is required, your child is encouraged to come to the Academic Resource Room (room 203) during class (with teacher permission). Please read the letter below for more details.
The letter below was given out to student's at the start of the semester to indicate what supports are available to them, where they can go for assistance, who their monitor teacher is, and when their monitor teacher is available.
