With Learning Support Level 1, you will see your Special Education teacher on a daily basis for 1 semester through a Learning Strategies course (GLE) and also receive monitor support (LS2) in the semester without the learning strategies course (GLE).
With Learning Support Level 2, you will be assigned a Special Education teacher that will monitor your progress throughout the semester. The monitor teacher will meet with you or your teachers on a pre-arranged basis (bi-weekly, monthly, or as needed).
Direct Support may include:
a conference with the student in person or by email (e.g. course updates, goal setting, capacity building, etc)
Indirect Support may include:
resources for the student through Google Classroom or this website
review of report card (e.g. progress report, midterm report, semester 1 final report)
a conference with the classroom teachers, guidance counselor, or parent
