VHS
Thinking About VHS?
Students at Petersburg High School have the opportunity to extend their learning through our membership in the Virtual High School program.
Benefits:
The courses are accredited and will be added to your transcript.
These online courses offer flexibility to fit into our students' schedules any period of the day.
VHS offers courses in a range of disciplines that our school may not be able to offer.
Students who enjoy VHS appreciate the varied course subjects, as well as working independently.

Student Testimonials
Marissa:
"I love it! I like to work independently. I also think it's easier if you are taking AP or advanced courses because you can work out when to do the assignments with your schedule here. It's flexible. It's also good for college because you can show you are independent and work well on your own. It offers classes we don't have here."
Aaron:
I loved the class (Academic Writing) because I was able to practice writing in ways that I haven't when taking other English courses. The assignments were interesting--not just "read this book and write an essay."
