Take a look at these helpful videos on the research process. You will also see the librarian and teachers collaborate on research projects and teaching students the research process. In 9th grade, we conduct weekly lessons on the following:  the research process, identifying the research question, how to get--and stay--organized, brainstorming research topics and sub-topics, and turning ideas into a working plan. Then we work to develop keywords and locating quality sources round out the research lessons.

This is time well spent as students can achieve research success and a quality product. Don't forget to ask for help and watch the videos below if you are working independently.
