What is Computer Applications?

Computer Applications is designed to give students a broad exposure to current and emerging computer applications. Students will develop computer skills, which will help boost their academic, personal, and professional lives. Students will learn about safety and responsibility while using the internet, work hands on with different computer applications such as Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms, and Sites, Canva, and WeVideo.

Why Take Computer Applications?

Not only is Computer Applications a requirement for graduation, the skills students learn in this class will be able to be transferred over into other classes, their personal interests, and their jobs beyond high school. While learning this technology is important, students will also be practicing employability skills, problem solving skills, and critical thinking skills.
