Meet your instructor

I have been teaching at PCC for seven years. I am also a writer, poet, and journalist. I'm a mom, a nerd, and an avid reader. I have a wonderful partner named Hank, who is also a teacher, and two young kids. In my spare time, you can find me working in my garden or escaping to the forest.

I use she/her/hers and they/them pronouns. That is, when your classmate asks you what we did in class, you can say, “She said…” or “They said…” to refer to me.  I invite you to share your pronouns with me as well, and let me know how you prefer to be addressed.
