How I Make an Important Decision

  Making an important decision is not always easy for me. I do not like to decide too quickly because a fast decision can sometimes cause mistakes or regret. When I have an important decision, I try to follow a few steps to help me feel more confident and make a better choice.

  The first step is to understand the problem. I think about the situation and ask myself why this decision is important. I also think about what could happen if I choose one option or another. For example, if I need to make a decision about school, work, or family, I try to understand the positive and negative results first. This helps me understand the problem better.

  After that, I ask for advice from people I trust. I usually talk to my husband or my mother because they are honest, supportive, and experienced. They know me well, and they do not want anything bad for me. Their advice helps me see the situation in a different way and feel less stressed.

  Next, I compare their advice with my own feelings. I know advice is helpful, but I also need to think about what is best for me. I think about my goals, my future, and what feels right in my heart. Sometimes other people give good advice, but I still need to make the final decision for myself.

  Finally, I make my decision. Sometimes I still feel nervous, but I feel better because I took time to think and ask for advice. I know that no decision is perfect, but following these steps helps me feel more prepared.

  In conclusion, making an important decision takes time. Understanding the problem, asking for advice, and thinking about my own feelings help me make a better decision. When I follow these steps, I feel more confident and more comfortable with my choice.

How To Become an Au Pair in the United States

  Learning about American Culture, traveling, improving your languages in a different country, building new friendships, earning a scholarship of up to 500 dollars and also receiving a payment for it every week are some of the benefits of becoming an Au Pair in the United States. Based on my experience, these are the steps to become an au pair in the USA.

  First, you need to check if you meet the requirements. You should be between 18 and 26 years old, have experience with kids, have a driver`s license and have basic English skills. Then, you have to find an agency to help you with the process. They support you with documents, interviews, and connecting you with host families. 

  Second, you would need to prepare all the necessary documents, passport, reference letters, childcare experience and photos to create a good profile. All of this is important because the host family will see your profile. After that, you start having interviews with different host families. This is an important step because you talk about daily routines, schedules, the kids, and what life in the house would be like.When you find a match with a host family, you start the visa process and prepare for your trip. When you arrive in the United States, your host family is usually waiting for you at the airport.

  During the program, agencies also organize monthly au pair meetings, which helps you meet new people and practice English. Having friends and building a community is very important so you don’t feel alone and can enjoy the experience more.

 How to Apply for a Student Visa

            Applying for a student visa is an important step for many students who want to study in another country. This process can be a little bit confusing if you don’t have someone to help you.  Here are some steps you can follow to apply by yourself to obtain a visa to study in another country.

             The first step in applying for a student visa is to be accepted by an educational institution in the country people want to study. Students have to apply to High School, College or a University and receive an important document usually called an admission letter from the School, College or University you apply for. This document proves you are accepted to study in the country at this stage.

            After being accepted, the school usually sends to the applicant an immigration document by mail. For instance, in the United States all students from another country who apply to study there receive a document called I-20. This document is extremely important to begin the visa application process,  and the applicant should check it carefully before starting the next step.

          Next, the applicants must pay the visa fees at the bank. Then, they need to complete an online application with the paper they receive from the bank after paying the visa fees. They also need to schedule an appointment at the  embassy  with a consular for the country they wish to study in. It’s also crucial to complete all information correctly to avoid delays or rejection.

          Finally, after submitting the application online, applicants must attend a visa interview on time to avoid rejection. During the interview, an officer usually called consular asks question about the applicant's plans such as city where is going to study, School, College or University name and financial situation. Applicants should answer honestly and clearly because the officer already has the answer to all questions he or she asks you. The applicants should prove that they plan to return to their country after completing their education.

         In conclusion, applying for a student visa requires some important steps: being accepted by a school, college or university, preparing documents, completing the application online, and attending an interview. All those require preparation and patience, but following these steps carefully will increase the chances of success.

How to make a Professional Presentation in CANVA.

  Making a professional presentation helps me to engage the audience in my work.  Usually, we need to make a presentation for school or work to share information, so learning what elements to consider, how to use new platforms, how we can look more professional, update, can give a good impression. CANVA is a good option, a good platform with dynamic elements to use and create a good presentation.

  The first step is creating an account. You can choose between free access or plus access with monthly pay. The difference in the free version or plus version is only the limited or unlimited access to elements and functions, but in my own experience, getting the free version is enough to make a professional presentation.

  For the second step, you need to identify the target audience. For example, if your audience are children you need to choose more colorful templates and use animations, but if the target audience are adults or the presentation is for work, you need formal templates with no more than four combinations of colors.

  The third step is identifying the theme and template type. For professional presentations it is recommended 16:9 format. After this, you will need to personalize it using the elements bar. You can modify the font, color, format, size, graphics, pictures, duration, etc. You can change, delete or add as many elements as you wish. Furthermore, knowing how much time we have for the presentation is very important. This helps to know how many slides you need to do.

  For the final step, I recommend using animations in your presentation such as, adding movement to the entire slide or element by element.

  In conclusion, making a good presentation can make the difference between capturing the audience’s attention or boring them, causing the information to lose its relevance. CANVA is an excellent option to look professional.
