My happiest memory was when I went to New York last year. I traveled with my friends. We visited many famous places and took a lot of pictures. The city was very big and beautiful. We walked in the streets and ate delicious food. I felt excited because it was my first trip to New York. We enjoyed our time together and learned many new things. At the end o f the trip, we were tired but very happy. It was an amazing experience for me. It was a wonderful time, and I will always remember it.
Multnomah Falls
By Khanh Nguyen
My happiest memory was visiting Multnomah Falls. It happened during my first summer in Portland with my family. We drove through the beautiful mountains, and the weather was cool and fresh. When I saw the waterfall for the first time, I was amazed by the natural beauty of the place. We walked up the bridge, took many pictures, and enjoyed the amazing view together. Before we left, we sat near the waterfall and talked while enjoying snacks and coffee. In the end, the trip became one of my favorite memories after arriving in America.
Mt. Rainer National Park
By Hoai Nguyen
Today, I want to talk about this interesting trip. I went to Mt. Rainer National Park five months ago with my husband. We rented a fantastic Airbnb near the mountain. It was not large, but utilities were included. Winter in the mountains had a lot of snow. The snow covered the roads, the trees, the houses, and everything. The first time I looked at the beautiful winter, I felt happy and very surprised. We drove the car one day of our stay, and we had an accident because the road was slippery. My car slid, and we got stuck and couldn’t move. After that, people along the way stopped and helped us. They were very, very kind and enthusiastic. That was so amazing for my husband and me. The trip to Mt. Rainer National Park was really fun. We love that place, and we met so many people!
Las Vegas
By Johan Cortes
In my life, I have had many good moments, but my trip to Las Vegas was the best! I drove my car to Las Vegas and arrived there at 7:00 pm. Once in the city, I drove down the Strip and saw huge, bright lights everywhere. Later, I visited the famous Las Vegas sign and took a photo with my friends. The next day, we went to the Electric Daisy Festival (EDC) at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. At the festival, we walked a lot, listened to loud music, and danced together. We also watched the fireworks light up the sky above the main stage. Early in the morning, I drove back to the hotel feeling tired but really happy. That weekend was my happiest moment because everything felt free, exciting, and unforgettable.
