How can I get E-statement?
There are two ways to get an e-statement:
If the customer's email-id is already registered with the bank, they can request an e-statement from the bank's website or mobile banking app.
If the email-id is not registered, the customer needs to contact the bank to get their email-id registered and then request for an e-statement.
Note: Taking photos of bank passbooks or statements and converting them to PDF format is not considered as valid e-Statements. You'll need to obtain the original PDF format e-Statements directly from your bank.
How is this different from m-passbook?
m-passbook is generally not as detailed as an e-Statement. m-passbook is only the summary while an e-Statement is a detailed report of your banking transactions.
