What is NMI?
Need More Information (NMI) is a term used by the Credit Ops team when applications lack proper documentation or have missing information, requiring additional or optional documents for effective processing of the loan application. It plays a vital role in reducing risks and ensuring a thorough evaluation.
Scenarios for NMIs requesting for Salary Slips:
If there is a fluctuation in the monthly salary in any of the months due to LOP, we need salary slip to verify it
Multiple UPI/NEFT transaction in the bank statement without the Employer Name
For cases where salary is credited in multiple transactions (weekly payouts)
Mismatch between stated income and income credited based on the bank statement (5% buffer is allowed)
Customer mentioned a different company name and the bank statement has a different name
Customers might have changed the organization
Checks while uploading PAN Card:
PAN Card picture should not be blurred or cropped
It should not be taken with flash or in low light conditions
Please cross-check the following details: Applicant’s Name, Photo, Date of Birth, Permanent Account Number, and Signature
Xerox copies of the document will not be accepted as valid pictures
Pictures of PAN Card application receipts will not be accepted
Digital e-PAN and Old PAN (White Color) will be accepted
Checks while uploading Self- Declaration form for NMI:
In cases where NMI has been raised for Self-Declaration form, then the self-declaration form can be submitted.
After submitting the application, the address will be verified through CPV.
Short addresses are not accepted. The complete address should be captured.
The customer need to manually fill out the complete address in English only and sign the form using a blue pen.
No digital signatures will be accepted.
The name and phone number mentioned in the declaration form should match those in the application.
The address mentioned in the declaration form should be the same as what is mentioned in the Communication Address in the Partner Portal.
