Influencers: By taking a public stance, they use their leadership positions to challenge perceived social norms that might suggest widespread substance use is normal or expected.
Educators: These leaders frequently engage in peer-to-peer education, sharing factual information about the risks associated with drug and alcohol use and promoting healthy alternatives for coping and recreation.
Community Builders: They often help create supportive, substance-free social environments and events where students can connect and have fun without pressure to use drugs or alcohol.
