I wanted to follow up what we announced at the principals zoom meeting yesterday – starting Monday we are asking all parents to have proof of enrollment in the district. It can be a copy of a report card with ID from last year, a student ID, a card with a student ID and name on it, a print out from school, free and reduced paperwork showing they are on the program, ANY kind of student identification showing kids are PISD students. We are having a lot of people come through the curbside lines who are not students in Pasadena ISD. We have to be able to identify our kids. Transportation teams are going to be helping us screen cars to make sure our kids are being served. People without student proof of enrollment in PISD will be turned away.

We DO need parents to complete their free and reduced applications to stay on the program. The drop date this year is Sept 29th. We have already approved 2174 applications on-line. Paper ARE available but we are trying to make these by request as a last resort only. If parents haven’t received notice back from us yet after submitting an free and reduced applications it most likely means we are waiting on their registration process to be completed so we can tie their application to their student ID number.
We are still providing catering services, please consider us for any needs you may have. We are individually wrapping food items.
