The ordinary becomes extraordinary in a small, town where love literally changes everything. On one cold Midwinter Night, the people of Almost, where it's too populated to be a wilderness and too disorganized to be a town, experience love in surreal and whimsical ways. From a woman carrying her broken heart in pieces to a man shrinking with heartbreak, this play explores how relationships can start, end, and transform in unexpected ways, all under the mystical glow of the aurora borealis. With humor, sincerity, and a touch of magic, Almost, Maine is a beautiful exploration of love’s power to change lives.
